"I was born on November 22, 1992. I come from a family of four children raised by a single mother. Fortunately, God through HOI has made it easier for us to make it through. My mother works all day long to provide for us. God has never forsaken us. Never.
In 1999, I had my first educational experience when I became a kindergarten student at JardÃn de Niños Rancho ParaÃso, a kindergarten sponsored by Honduras Outreach that is close to my then home.
In the year 2000, I started my first grade at Aldersgate Elementary School in Culuco. I graduated from sixth grade in the year 2005. The following year, 2006, I registered at Hope Elementary School to start my seventh grade and I am now at Grace high-school attending my tenth grade. I have as a goal to graduate in 2011 and then to go to college.
Our lives have not been easy. We have suffered a lot of lacks. We have gone hungry some times. However, my mom has found in HOI an ally and they have helped us all to get quality of education. My oldest brother has graduated already from high-school and is now working to help my mother. I also want to help my mother and younger brothers to scape from poverty.
HOI has made it easier because they provide us with uniforms and school supplies and have a school open for us every day with great teachers. I would like to finish my college education. I would like to probably become a biologist. I have may dreams and goals and I thank God for HOI that is helping me as I go. I am doing my part and HOI is helping me to go where I couldn't on my own.
Thanks, Thanks a lot. May God continue to bless you."
