Please join us for a fun evening of entertainment and inspiration as we bring together Atlanta’s business and philanthropic communities to support the Honduras Agalta Valley Education Foundation (HAVE) and its transformative efforts to provide quality education for the children of the Agalta Valley.

The evening will feature an inspiring talk by civil rights icon, global diplomat and community leader Ambassador Andrew Young. Drawing from decades of leadership—as a trusted advisor to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, and Mayor of Atlanta—Ambassador Young will share reflections that challenge and uplift, reminding us of the power of service, partnership and purpose.

The program will be emceed by Atlanta’s award winning journalist, author and media personality Monica Pearson.

The evening will include the announcement of the Vince & Barbara Dooley Impact Award, the 2026 Heart for Honduras Award, the Dr. Hugh Spruell Award and the HAVE Foundation Hall of Fame inductees.

HAVE was founded by the Wilderness Team in 2006 to sustain educational efforts in the Agalta Valley by raising funds to support the area’s schools and children. The Wilderness Team is a diverse group of individuals who travel to Honduras annually to partner with the people of the Agalta Valley to improve the quality of life in the region through education, health care and commerce.

The group will be making its annual trip to Honduras, February 28 – March 7, 2026.

The evening will also feature authentic Latin cuisine, a silent auction filled with must-have sports, entertainment and travel items, a wine pull and a documentary by Byron Small.
